Terms and Conditions for My Coursify

Welcome to My Coursify. By signing up, you (the "User") agree to the following terms, which constitute a binding legal agreement between you and My Coursify (UDYAM-TN-30-0099898).

Institutional Affiliation & Registration
• Account Creation: To access courses, students must select their respective affiliated Institution during signup.
• Data Mapping: By selecting an Institution, you consent to your academic progress and profile data being visible to and managed by the authorized administrators/teachers of that specific Institution.
• Accuracy: You agree to provide true and accurate information. Misrepresentation of institutional affiliation may lead to account suspension.

Financial Terms & Refund Policy
• No Cash Refunds: All course subscriptions are final. Once a payment is made, no cash or bank refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
• Virtual Wallet Credit: If a student chooses to surrender a course or is unenrolled before completion (subject to approval), the pro-rata or full amount will be credited to the user's My Coursify Virtual Wallet.
• Usage of Wallet: Wallet balances are non-transferable and cannot be withdrawn as cash. They can only be used to subscribe to other available courses on the My Coursify platform.

Data Usage & Privacy (DPDP Act Compliance)
• Purpose Limitation: Your data (Name, Email, Institution, Progress) is collected solely for educational purposes and institutional reporting.
• Fair Usage: My Coursify does not sell student data to third-party advertisers.
• Consent: By clicking "I Agree," you provide explicit consent to My Coursify to process your personal data to facilitate your learning journey and share necessary reports with your college.
• Grievance Redressal: As per Indian IT Laws, any data-related concerns can be addressed to our Grievance Officer at support@mycoursify.com

Intellectual Property
• All content, videos, and materials provided on My Coursify are the intellectual property of My Coursify or its partners. Users are prohibited from recording, downloading (unless permitted), or redistributing content. Violation will lead to legal action under the Copyright Act.

User Conduct
• Users shall not upload any "harmful" or "obscene" content as defined under the IT Rules 2021.
• Any attempt to hack, scrape, or bypass the LMS security will result in immediate termination of the license without a refund.

Jurisdiction
• These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tamil Nadu.
